Job description

The main purpose of this position is to ensure that the department has a digital strategy of growth to ensure profitability and to manage the department ensure checks and balances are implemented ensuring efficiency.

Key outputs

  • Drive digital product sales with wales teams
  • Assist the creation of integrated campaigns by responding to client briefs
  • Proactively design and value branded content and digital solutions to be presented to client
  • Create project plans with the digital content teams to ensure the successful implementation of client-led campaigns
  • Work closely with the content teams to ensure the delivery of agreed digital KPIs with clients
  • Be the digital media guru with a solid understanding of digital media, marketing and advertising
  • Be in the field with account executives
  • Consult and educate account executives and clients in digital advertising and marketing
  • Assist sales and marketing in promoting the entire line of digital products
  • Sales pitch, strategy development and implementation for digital products
  • Ensure that the digital components of PCAs are completed in a timely fashion and clearly articulate to the client the value created by Primedia in the execution of their campaigns
  • Identify trends, quantify impact, and communicate improvement opportunities to the Sales team

  • Matric
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred
  • Minimum three to five years’ relevant experience in digital media
  • Two to three years’ experience in sales
  • Passionate about digital and integrated solutions to service client briefs
  • Highly knowledgeable with digital media. Digital advertising beneficial
  • Confidence in pitching and closing business – worked in Sales environment beneficial
  • Strong focus on teamwork and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
