Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Maintenance Superintendent, the incumbent will be placed on a training programme to qualify in an artisan trade. We have an opportunity for a Boilermaker Learnership.

Experience and Qualifications:

One 18.1 Learnership will be offered to an internal candidate.

  • The development plan for Learnerships entails the following:
  • Off-the-job training at an identified Technical Training Centre
  • On-the-job training to ensure that learners are exposed to relevant technical equipment and maintenance practices.

Applicants who are technically inclined and are in possession of at least a N2 with relevant subjects for the position advertised above are invited to apply. Applicants must have a valid driver€™s license.

The selection process will include assessments to establish the technical aptitude of the applicant. Upon conclusion of the assessments applicants will be selected and informed of interviews to be conducted.
